Day 35 – We woke to find that three cruise ships had come into Skagway overnight. We got up, packed up, and went to the Laundromat for one last load of laundry. Later in the day, on our way to wait in line for the ferry, we stopped by the church bldg and took some pictures. We arrived at the ferry terminal about 13:30 and talked with other passengers. We were waiting in line next to a Nature Photographer. Once on board, Eric tied down the bikes while Jennifer scouted out a place to pitch our tent. Only one other tent was pitched already, so she didn't worry about securing a place and left our tent and a few other things in a likely spot and went back down and helped Eric tie-down/unload the bikes. After taking care of the bikes and making sure they were secure, we both came upstairs and found a nice spot at the back of the ship under the dining room overhang for our tent. The wind was fierce at the dock so we waited until after the ship backed out from the dock and headed South before setting up our tent. The scenery was already beautiful from the ferry.
